While you tap your toes to
our authentic
mountain music,

serves up fabulous
ice cream and famous Orchard fudge, made
fresh by Miss Charlotte right in the Orchard shop. Children can watch the
entire lifecycle of
Monarch
Butterflies at our Butterfly Conservation Center as well as thousands of
our busy tree pollinators in the the Orchard beehive.
The Orchard
Food Wagon offers delicious sandwiches and snacks
every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4:30. Come and
enjoy! Later in the season the Wagon is open
additional days of the week.

After a trip around the dance floor, take a look at
our
local mountain
art, jams,
jellies, sauces,
sweets, gifts, and
more!
Individuals, families, and
large or small
tour groups are all invited to take Orchard
hayrides where you gaze out at the picture-perfect views
while listening to stories that have shaped our area for centuries. Oh, and
don't forget the apples!

trends, in 2009 the Orchard will offer java lovers their
fill of fine espresso, lattes and cappuccinos. Enjoy your
Cuppa Joe on the back porch with exquisite views of the Blue
Ridge.

The HISTORIC ORCHARD at ALTAPASS is a 501C3 non-profit
