Family fun by the bushels! While you tap your toes to our authentic mountain music, our talented staff serves up fabulous ice cream and famous Orchard  fudge, made fresh by Miss Charlotte right in the Orchard shop. Children can watch the entire lifecycle of Monarch Butterflies at our Butterfly Conservation Center as well as thousands of our busy tree pollinators in the the Orchard beehive.

The Orchard Food Wagon offers delicious sandwiches and snacks every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4:30.  Come and enjoy!  Later in the season the Wagon is open additional days of the week.

Shop 'til you drop or relax on an Orchard  hayride! After a trip around the dance floor, take a look at our local mountain art, jams, jellies, sauces, sweets, gifts, and more! Individuals, families, and large or small tour groups are all invited to take Orchard hayrides where you gaze out at the picture-perfect views while listening to stories that have shaped our area for centuries. Oh, and don't forget the apples!

New Coffee Bar at The Orchard! With a nod to modern trends, in 2009 the Orchard will offer java lovers their fill of fine espresso, lattes and cappuccinos. Enjoy your Cuppa Joe on the back porch with exquisite views of the Blue Ridge. Come see our newly renovated shop and performance space at The Orchard.

Birding Reports from The Orchard available on the Special Events Page!
